The Body Guard leveler has two protective devices: anti-fall and anti-crushing. These safety systems ensure safe loading and unloading operations.
In rest position, the retractable obstacle (on top of the leveller), inside the building, secures the door from shocks when it is closed and prevents handling equipment from falling when it is open.

This dock leveler combines anti-crushing protection for people and an anti-fall lip for handling equipment.
In this case, a manual swivelling dock barrier provides additional security.
When the leveller is in rest position, the lip make a barrier onto the platform. This prevents handling equipment from falling and protects the sectional door when it is closed.
When the lip is on the trailer, the barrier (lip) and the refuge area have disappeared, and the antifall leveler functionning like a standard dock leveler.
