Loading dock bumpers - Sliding dock bumpers

Mobile bumpers constantly follow variations in vehicle height, so this dock bumper is designed for intensive use.

Expresso movable stops (supplied in pairs) are interchangeable (right - left). The shock-absorbing function is effectively provided by a one-piece piece of 70 Shore rubber.
Thanks to its extremely resistant one-piece cover, the inner rubber block is never subject to tearing, so no maintenance is required. As more and more trucks are fitted with air suspension, fixed (traditional) dock bumpers cannot withstand the pressure (vertical to and fro) exerted by semi-trailers during transhipment operations for long.

The solution: the mobile bumper, which constantly follows variations in vehicle height.

The traditional 2-part metal front of the bumper (front cover and welded top cap) is replaced in this model by a much stronger one-piece cover with reinforcements on the sloping part. Depending on the height of the dock and the type of vehicle, mobile bumpers can be installed either flush with the top of the dock or projecting above dock level. Every second bumper can also be raised to ensure that the highest vehicles stop.
